KIDS STORY: God Helps Us Make the Right Choice

Todays story is called!

"God Helps Us Make the Right Choice!"

Bible Passage!:

1 Corinthians 10:13.
 
Sammy the squirrel lived in a big, beautiful forest. He loved climbing trees, gathering nuts, and playing with his friends. But Sammy had one problem—he loved shiny things. One day, while collecting acorns, Sammy found a shiny silver coin near the edge of Farmer Tom’s garden.  

"Wow! This is so pretty!" Sammy thought. 

Then he noticed something else—there was a whole pile of shiny coins inside Farmer Tom’s shed. But Sammy also saw a sign on the door that said, *“Do not enter.”
 
Sammy felt tempted. "Just one look won’t hurt," he said to himself. But deep down, he knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. Sammy sat on a branch and thought hard. 
 
Then Sammy remembered something his grandma had told him: 

“Whenever you’re tempted to do something wrong, ask God for help. 

He’ll always show you the right path.”  

So Sammy closed his eyes and prayed, "Dear God, I really want to go into the shed, but I know it’s not right. Please help me make the right choice."  

Just then, Sammy heard the cheerful chirp of his best friend, Bella Bluebird. “Sammy! Let’s go play tag!” she called. Sammy smiled. He jumped down and ran to play with Bella, forgetting all about the coins.  

So, what can we learn for this story?

Well, Sammy learned that when we’re tempted to do something wrong, God is always there to help us. He gives us the strength to say no and provides another way for us to stay on the right path.  

So, how can we apply this in our life?

(1). "Pray for Help!:" 

When you feel tempted, stop and pray. God is always listening and ready to help.
  
(2). "Think About What’s Right!:" 

Remember what the Bible teaches and think about the consequences of your choices. 
 
(3). "Look for God’s Way Out!:" 

God always provides a way to avoid temptation, whether it’s a distraction or a reminder of what’s right. 
 
(4). "Ask for Support!:" 

Talk to a trusted adult, teacher, or friend if you’re struggling with a hard choice. 
 
Let us pray!

Dear God,  

Thank You for always being with me and helping me when I’m tempted. 

Please remind me to pray and trust You when I face difficult choices. 

Help me to choose what is right and follow Your way. 

I know You will give me the strength I need.  

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
