KIDS STORY: The Brave Little Fish and the Great Journey

"The Brave Little Fish and the Great Journey".

Once upon a time, in a bright and colorful coral reef, there lived a little fish named Finny. Finny was smaller than most of the other fish in the reef, but he had a big heart and a lot of courage. He loved exploring the reef and making new friends. One day, Finny heard about a great river that flowed into the ocean. The river was said to be full of wonders and new adventures. Finny's eyes sparkled with excitement, and he decided he wanted to see this river for himself.

But there was a problem. To reach the river, Finny would have to swim through the open ocean, which was filled with big fish, strong currents, and other dangers. Finny felt a little scared, but he remembered a special verse from his favorite book, the Bible. The verse was Isaiah 43:2, which says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you."

Encouraged by this promise, Finny took a deep breath and started his journey. As he swam away from the safety of the coral reef, the ocean seemed vast and a little scary. The waves were big, and sometimes Finny felt very small. But every time he started to feel afraid, he remembered the words of Isaiah 43:2 and felt a comforting presence beside him, like a warm, invisible friend.

On his journey, Finny met many different sea creatures. Some were friendly, like the playful dolphins who showed him fun tricks and made him laugh. Others were not so friendly, like a grumpy old shark who tried to scare him. But Finny kept swimming, always remembering that God was with him, just like the Bible verse said.

After what seemed like a long time, Finny finally reached the mouth of the great river. The water was fresh and cool, and the river was full of amazing sights. He saw tall trees leaning over the water, colorful birds flying overhead, and fish he'd never seen before. Finny felt so happy and proud of himself for being brave and trusting God.

Finny's adventure taught him that even when things seem scary or difficult, he could be brave because God was always with him. He also learned that trusting God could lead to wonderful new experiences and friends.

So what have we learned from todays story?

(1). "Courage in Difficult Situations": 

Just like Finny, you might face things that seem scary or hard. Remembering that God is with you can help you be brave.

(2). "Trusting God's Promises": 

Isaiah Chapter 43 verse 2 reminds us that God will protect us. Trusting His promises can give us the strength to face our fears.

(3). "Kindness and Friendship": 

Along your journey, you will meet many different people. Being kind and making friends can make your journey more enjoyable and less scary.

(4). "Exploring New Things": 

Don’t be afraid to try new things and explore new places. There are always new adventures waiting for you if you trust in God and step out with courage.

So, next time you feel afraid or unsure, remember the story of the brave little fish and the great journey. Know that God is always with you, just like He was with Finny, and He will guide you through any challenge you face.
